Ruckus over Rafale, LS adjourned till noon

New Delhi, Feb 8 (IANS): The Lok Sabha was adjourned till noon on Friday following ruckus over fresh revelations that the Defence Ministry had strongly objected to "parallel negotiations" conducted by the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) with France on the Rafale fighter jet deal.

Soon after the House met, the opposition members from Congress, Trinamool Congress and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) trooped near the Speaker's podium shouting slogans against the government.

Members were heard saying "Chowkidar chor hai" and were holding placards protesting against the defence deal.

Amid the din, Speaker Sumitra Mahajan tried to take up the Question Hour. But the agitating members continued their protest.

The Speaker then adjourned the House till 12 noon.

A media report said on Friday that the Defence Ministry had raised strong objections to "parallel negotiations" conducted by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Office with the French side over the controversial Rafale deal.

    In Karnataka the opposition, BJP is not allowing state assembly saying the JD(S)-Congress government is a minority since they don't have the right to function.
    In Delhi, BJP is in the absolute majority and speaker of the assembly belongs to the same party is adjourning the house to save her own party getting exposed in 'Rafale Jet' scam and piles of other corruptions.
    Yesterday Prime Modi is giving long sermons on corruption. In Karnataka his Chief Minister candidate exposed in tape buying opposition. In the center, Modiji is exposed saving his crony capitalist Ambani from bankrupt who helped him win 2014 Lok Sabha elections.
    BJP's 'Good governance' is exposed. Where is the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh which wants others to chant 'Bharat Mata ki Jai' and worship her with devotion is silent on corruption in defense?

    Instead of taking HAL Chairman to France for signing, Modi took Anil Ambani, (with his company groups debt of one lakh crore and the company for this purpose incorporated one week before), clearly shows the chowkidar has definitely favoured Anil Ambani as against Indian govt established organization.

    Anil Ambani has not filed for bankruptcy. One of his companies, Reliance Communication with a debt of Rs 46,000 crores is forced by creditors to file for bankruptcy to recover whatever is possible to get. in accordance with amended company law 2013.
