Konkan Singers Club, Bahrain celebrates ‘Night in the Desert’

Bahrain, Feb 10: Konkan Singers Club, the oldest expatriate club in Bahrain organized a tent party in the desert at Sakir camping site, on February 7 for members and their families. It was a night long event and a wonderful time to play, enjoy and relax under the serenity of the moon. The weather was pleasant that indeed boosted the enthusiasm among the members.

The night started with a welcome note from the Konkan Singers Club president Steven D’Souza. Arun Fernandes led the members in prayer. Members were welcomed with barbeque snacks after which entertainment activities started at around 9.00 pm, games and fun activities went on right up to 3.00 am. Children had lots of fun as the weather was fantastic. The adults too enjoyed whole heartedly by participating in each and every game which were conducted with lots of enthusiasm by the Excom members.



The members were very happy and contented with the time they spent at the camp. At the end of the party every member responsible to make this event a grand success were thanked for their selfless sacrifice and contribution. It was a memorable outing for the members.
