New Delhi, Feb 12 (IANS): The Rajya Sabha was on Tuesday adjourned till 2 p.m. midway through Zero Hour as some members tried to raise their issues out of turn.
As the Upper House took up Zero Hour for the first time since the session commenced, the MPs belonging to different parties raised their issues.
In the meantime, a few opposition MPs stood up. Chairman M. Venkaiah Naidu told the MPs that they had not given prior notice and they could not speak out of turn.
As the MPs persisted in speaking, Naidu adjourned the House till 2 p.m.
The Upper House is expected to resume discussion on the motion of thanks to the President's address in the afternoon.
