Weather to improve in J&K from Friday


Srinagar, Feb 15 (IANS): After three days of rain and light snowfall, weather is likely to improve in Jammu and Kashmir from Friday, a Met official said.

Minimum temperature in Srinagar was zero degree Celsius on Friday while it was minus 2.6 and minus 6.2 degree in Pahalgam and Gulmarg, respectively.

In Ladakh division, Leh town recorded minus 4.4, Kargil minus 14.4 and Drass minus 11.8 degree as the minimum temperature.

Jammu city had 10.5, Katra town 9.5, Batote 1.8, both Bannihal and Bhaderwah had 0.4 degrees as the night's lowest temperatures.
