Death toll in Kashmir suicide bombing on CRPF convoy rises to 49

Srinagar, Feb 15 (IANS): The death toll in a horrific suicide bombing on a CRPF convoy in Jammu and Kashmir rose to 49 on Friday after four more of the injured troopers succumbed to their injuries here, an official said.

The latest casualties were occupants of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) vehicle that was following the CRPF bus rammed by a SUV packed with explosives on the Srinagar-Jammu highway in Pulwama district on Thursday.

A CRPF official said that all 44 occupants of the targeted CRPF bus had died and five others in the other vehicle had also passed away.

Another 34 troopers were being treated in an Army hospital here for multiple injuries.

The Thursday horror was the worst loss to security forces on any single day in Jammu and Kashmir since a separatist campaign broke out in 1989 and drew international condemnation.

Modi and the BJP are useless. They are only good at bluster and empty rhetoric BJP is unable to obtain a declaration of terrorist against Masood Azhar at the UN. China is pushing India around because India has no coherent trade and security policy on China. China has a 66 billion trade surplus with India. How much of that money is being used by the Chinese military? Why isn't Modi pressuring China to make trade concessions like Trump has with China?

Why Government at the centre can't pass a special act and hand over the entire J&K into the hands of Armed Forces with full powers to restore law and order with No questions asked for army's actions followed by resettling all Kashmiri Pandits back in their homeland. In no time all bad elements presently creating trouble will surely put to rest for ever.

Deadly attack... But we cannot go for war at this moment.
In 2008, Mumbai attack congress did not go for war instead exchanged some dossiers...

Now India can do surgical strike frequently and torture Pakistan.. also punish all internal home grown militants and terrorist sympathisers.

This time BJP's ruse of surgical strikes won't work . When Terrorists boast of the head count they've achieved you Andh bhakts simply relish in the thought of surgical strikes , where no one has any concrete evidence of what really happened .

This issue is unsolvable as the terror outfits are oraganised crime gangs of Pakistan having the support of isi and political parties.
Even if there is a solution, these gangs will still operate against India.

BJP used it for votes. Now its opposition.

At this hour of need the whole country stands by the country iteslf but not by Modi and BJP. Modi and BJP is the reason for this repeated unabated attacks on our soldiers and innocent people of that area. BJP is providing the defence personnel with substandard weaponry, technology and food ration by stealing the money from defence budget. OROP and pension to retired ex military personnel is in doldrums. Loyalty by army to this BJP govt at the lowest point. BJP wants to unite the country at this time while BJP iteslf is busy dividing the country on religious and on party basis. BJP Hatao Jawan Bachao.
