Mangaluru, Feb 19: Graduation day for the outgoing batch of Grade 10 students was held on February 6. Rajina Dinesh was the chief guest at the programme.
The chief guest received the guard of honour and gave away mementos to young graduands. Dr Dilip G Naik, dean of Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Mamatha Rao, regional lead academics, Pearson Schools India, and Arun Raj Rodrigues, president of the PTA, were also present.
Senior school coordinator Srilatha Alva welcomed the gathering and middle school coordinator Shilpa Moger rendered the vote of thanks. In her address principal Anuradha Shivaram urged the students to follow their heart and not waste their time trying to live someone else’s dream. Grade 10 students Medha Nethicallu and Sathivk Acharya spoke about the unforgettable moments in their school life. Pranav Srisrimal spoke on behalf of the students of grade 9. Dr Smitha Khandige parent of Chirag Khandige spoke on behalf of all the parents. Reshma Rao spoke on behalf of the teachers.
In his talk Dr Dilip Naik reminded students that they must value their education as they were leaving the portals of the school that is backed by two big names in education Manipal Academy of Higher Education and Pearson.

The evening ended with a high tea hosted by the school for the outgoing students and their parents.
