Will act if Pakistanis involved in suicide bombing: Imran Khan

Islamabad, Feb 19 (IANS): Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday said his country will have no other option to retaliate if India wages war against it in the wake of the February 14 suicide bombing in Jammu and Kashmir that killed 40 CRPF troopers.

"If you (Indian government) think you will attack us and we will not think of retaliating, we will retaliate. We will have no other option other than retaliating. We all know starting a war is easy ... Where it will lead us, only God knows," Khan said in a nationwide broadcast.

Khan said the Indian government blamed Pakistan for the Pulwama attack without any evidence and insisted that the issue can only be resolved through dialogue.

"What would Pakistan benefit from it? Why would Pakistan do such a thing when it has been moving towards peace. It is in our interest that nobody from our soil spreads violence. I want to tell the Indian government that we will take action if evidence is found against anyone from Pakistan," he said.

Khan's response came after New Delhi held Islamabad responsible for the attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district that was claimed by the Pakistani-based Jaish-e-Mohammed.

    Whoever done the attack must feel the pain, and Indian army must eliminate them. But prior to doing that we should ensure the real culprit? A single murder takes years to find out the murderer (example Gauri lankesh) but in this case minutes after the Pulwama attack we have come to the conclusion that pakistan is behind the attack.
    There is a possibility that Pakistan is behind the attack and no one is denying that, and if this is true, we must take appropriate action but a proper investigation from all angles required to know the truth.
    People who want to go for a war with Pakistan should read the CAG report,
    a CAG report had revealed that stock of as many as 61 types of ammunition - out of a total of 152 types of ammunition considered critical by the Indian Army to fight a war - was available for just 10 days only.
    Indian government spent 4800 crores on publicity and image building, why they did not buy sufficient ammunition? Quite often we have seen in social media soldiers complaining about quality of food they are served, is this the way we treat our soldiers?

    Raviraj Poonja ! Modi is not MMS - that is because Modi sought Chris Michel in exchange of an Arab Princess. If it was MMS, he would have demanded Dawood Ibrahim. If BJP was ruling 2012, Modi would have taken Kasab by hand to Navab Sharif as a present when he gate-crashed on birthday party, just as ABV sent Mazood Azhar through Yashvanth Sinha in 1999.

    What is the outcome of so precious exchange ? What has Chris Michel told in Modi's ears ? Please advise !

    Osama Bin Landen was found in yoru back yard. JEM has already claimed responisbility so what else is requried? Maulana Azhar Masood is a Paki national. Entire world knows that Pak is a birth place of terrorism. The sad part is you have supporters and sympathizers on this side of the border .

    Anywhere in the world...terrorists are admitted in Military Hospital for treatment???...

    But remember...to prepare for a full war with Pakis it may take at least 90 days ...may be more than that...in 1971 it took about 8-9 months( March 1971-December 1971)....

    Media should attach his video found in YouTube in which he has addressed in a polite manner rather than giving such burning headlines.

    I have watched his video straight away after reading the news headline from Indian media which are adding fuel to the situation.

    Any sensible human will admire his words in which he is open to any form of dialogue with India and us ready to punish anybody used his soil for crimes.

    We don't have to prove anybody here our patriotism also we don't get carried away so easily with the situation like how BJP and it's affiliates are doing it for political gains. We keep patience and think deeply before talking anything silly. We don't support any crimes also we don't play politics in the name of our soldiers.
    Neither we support terrorism nor do we blindly believe in what others say with Mirch masala by taking advantage of situation.

    The same feelings, patriotism, and anger should b shown when Moist kill our CRPF, police or any military personals like how they keep on bombing them or railway tracks. Why in such incidents patriotism vanish or media don't go hyper?

    Better to have patience and think deeply like what is going on in politics.

    Forget taking action.... it is the main work of Pakistan military's....... they are training the terrorist against India..... so if war India Pakistan happened....Pakistan is having 4 military capacity..... one is Pakistan military.... jem terrorist.....Pakistan Taliban terrorists....... and Kashmir terrorists......
    So the brainless Indian military are more causalities than Pakistan...

    There was a time when Indians used to admire Imran Khan for his cricketing skills and his political ideology to develop Pakistan rather than fling mud at India. After premiership, his sarkar has turned out to be a U-Turn sarkar sadly. Wish he stuck to his development agenda like in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

    if you act, you will be cut by fundamentalist/your army....26/11 investigated by multiple agencies & other countries also (their nationals also killed)..thousands of pages of evidences provided...what happened to that...Nawaz sharief seems to understand the gravity and there was some hope...but he was jailed by Army ...pakistan is gone case, kashmiris also...since 70 years kashmiris didnt understood, now what they will understand..they are just blind, cant see what pakistan did in Afghanistan/Baluchistan...the day Govt stops pouring money into kashmir, they realise..
