Vivo launches V15 Pro with pop-up selfie camera in India


New Delhi, Feb 20 (IANS): Chinese smartphone brand Vivo on Wednesday launched its new flagship V15 Pro in India for Rs 28,990 that comes with a pop-up selfie camera.

The device also comes with AI triple rear camera, an in-display fingerprint scanner and super AMOLED display.

"Besides the industry's first elevating front camera that gave us the ultimate bezel-less display, we are always looking to introduce game-changing features, such as higher quality cameras and smarter AI services," Kent Cheng, CEO, Vivo India, told reporters here.

With an almost bezel-less, 91.64 per cent screen-to-body ratio, the smartphone is available in 6GB+128GB storage variant for pre-order on Vivo India E-store, Amazon.in and Flipkart, starting February 20.

The device would be available in Topaz Blue and Ruby Red colours, starting March 6.

The smartphone comes with a 32MP pop-up selfie camera and AI-enabled 48 million Quad Pixel Sensor, 8MP+5MP triple camera setup at the back.

The device is powered with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 675AIE octa-core processor which consumes less power while delivering flagship level performance.

The V15 Pro sports a 6.39-inch Ultra FullView display, along with the company's fifth-generation in-display fingerprint scanning technology.

It runs the latest Funtouch OS 9 Operating System (OS), based on Android 9.0.
