Mangaluru: Sandeep Patil is new police commissioner - T R Suresh transferred

Mangaluru, Feb 21: Sandeep Patil will come as new police commissioner to city while hitherto police commissioner T R Suresh has been transferred.

The transfer was made by the government in a communication dated February 20.

Sandeep Patil was DIG and joint commissioner of Police, CAR Bengaluru till now.

Patil will take over as DIG and commissioner of police Mangaluru city in downgraded post by keeping the cadre post of IGP and commissioner of police Mangaluru city vice T R Suresh PIS transferred , says the government order.

    Mr. T. R. Suresh had indeed served the City of Mangalore and the people of Mangalore very well indeed. His relocation is a loss to Mangalore City. However by all accounts Mr. Sandeep Patil too has his credentials.

    I join several others in bidding farewell to Mr. Suresh.
