New Delhi, Feb 23 (IANS): Mata Bhagwanti Chadha Niketan (MBCN), a school for specially-abled children, celebrated its 20th annual day on Saturday.
Noida-based MBCN is under the aegis of The Ponty Chadha Foundation, which works towards the social and economic development of the society, MBCN said in a statement.
"On this momentous occasion, the school released self-instructional training modules to enable trainers or caretakers of specially-abled children in promoting the development of young children with developmental delays in a home setting," it said.
With this module, the school aims to reach out to caregivers and parents who either cannot afford to avail educational and developmental training services for their specially-abled child or such services are not available in their areas because of remote and underdeveloped location, the statement said.
