IHG opens two Holiday Inn Express hotels in Hyderabad


Hyderabad, Feb 27 (IANS): InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), one of the world's leading hotel companies, on Wednesday announced the opening of two Holiday Inn Express hotels in Hyderabad.

The hotels have come up in upmarket Banjara Hills and information technology hub Hitec City.

Holiday Inn Express Hyderabad Banjara Hills features 168 contemporary, design-led rooms and offers a convenient and hassle-free stay for both business and leisure travellers.

Holiday Inn Express Hyderabad Hitec City, the second hotel from the IHG-SAMHI portfolio, has 148 rooms. The hotel is conveniently located within a five-km radius from major technology parks, the company said in a statement.

"Hyderabad not only offers a glimpse into the region's rich heritage and culture but has also emerged as the epicentre of the rapidly growing start-up and technology ecosystem, thus increasing the number of visitors to the city. We are excited to strengthen our presence in the city with two new Holiday Inn Express hotels and offer brand's signature hospitality to the travelers visiting the city," Vivek Bhalla, Regional Vice President, SWA, IHG.
