Secure IAF pilot's release: DMK


Chennai, Feb 27 (IANS): DMK President M.K. Stalin on Wednesday urged the Indian government to do everything necessary to bring back Indian Air Force (IAF) pilot Varthaman Abhinandan who has been captured by the Pakistan Army.

In a tweet, Stalin said: "My thoughts are with the family and friends of Wing Commander Abhinandan.

"I urge the government of India to do everything necessary to get him safely back home at the earliest," he added.

Abhinandan's family lives in Chennai.
