Civilian injured in Uri shelling


Srinagar, Mar 1 (IANS): A civilian was injured in overnight shelling from across the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Uri sector, police sources said.

Two residential houses were damaged in the heavy shelling by the Pakistan Army all along the Kamalkote sector and at four other places in Uri since Thursday evening.

Intermittent shelling and firing between the Indian and Pakistani sides have continued in the morning.
