Pakistan bowed before diplomatic pressure, ordered Abhinandan's release within 24 hours: Amit Shah

New Delhi, Mar 2 (IANS): BJP President Amit Shah on Friday described Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman as a symbol of "bravery and valour" and said the diplomatic pressure by India forced Pakistan to order his release within 24 hours.

"Abhinandan's safe return is a matter of immense pleasure. He is a symbol of bravery and valour. Pakistan bowed before the diplomatic pressure put by India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and ordered his release within 24 hours," he said in a statement.

Shah said the entire nation was proud of Abhinandan's courage and valour.

"India is glad to have you back. May you continue to serve the nation and IAF with unparalleled passion and dedication. Best wishes for your bright future," he said.

Indian Air Force (IAF) pilot Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman, captured by Pakistanis on February 27 after his MiG-21 crashed in the Pakistan-occupied territory, returned to India on Friday night.

Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan had announced on Thursday that the IAF pilot would be released on Friday as a "gesture of peace".

    Pakistan was trapped in the Viral Video of Abhinandan Varthaman
    In fact we were saddened after seeing ill treatment of Abhinandan Varthaman by the Pakistanis and all the Indians were astonishingly in a silent mode.

    Interesting point is they were trapped from their own in exhibiting ill treatment video.
    Previously I have copied and quoted Geneva agreement in Daijiworld web Portal; anyway I shall quote once again for the readers sake.

    ಜಿನಿವಾ ಒಪ್ಪಂದದ ನಿಯಮಗಳು ಈ ಕೆಳಗಿನಂತಿವೆ. ಬಂಧನಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಪಟ್ಟ ಸೈನಿಕನನ್ನು ;

    1) ಹಿಂಸಿಸುವಂತಿಲ್ಲ ಅಥವಾ ಕೆಟ್ಟದಾಗಿ ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತಿಲ್ಲ

    5)ಅವರಿಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಸದಸ್ಯರನ್ನು ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸುವ ಹಕ್ಕಿರುತ್ತದೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಕುಟುಂಬದಿಂದ ಅಗತ್ಯ ಸಾಮಗ್ರಿಗಳನ್ನು ತರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಅವಕಾಶವಿರುತ್ತದೆ.

    6)ರೆಡ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯು ಈ ಯುದ್ಧಖೈದಿಗಳನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿ ಮಾಡಿ ಅವರ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಅವಲೋಕಿಸುವ ಹಕ್ಕು ಪಡೆದಿರುತ್ತದೆ.

    Modi and his people have not met a single dead CRPF jawans family up to now. All these people have droped the topic of RAM MANDIR... These are the main culprits who are behind the Pulwama attack, this is why they deserted Mehbooba Mufti and stopped discussing about Kashmir, beside that no one from the ruling party is taking about CRPF dead jawans. This attack as brought an end to entire Rafale deal. All in all it is a well planned game to gain symthy to win election because the Ram Mandir card didn't work and had a Rafale's deal hurdle, so now it is cleared. Now it is sure BJP is going to win after washing hands in blood.
