Udupi, Mar 2: The National Science Day was celebrated in Milagres College Kallianpur by Science Association on Friday, March 1.
The chief guest of the programme was retired professor of Chemistry Subrahmanya Joshi. The president of the programme Prof Joseph Peter Fernandes, dean of Science faculty and HOD in Chemistry, in his presidential remarks told the importance of National Science Day. He encouraged the students to work hard.
Aarazoo of III BSc introduced Prof Subrahmanya Joshi. The dignitaries felicitated the chief guest of the programme.
Prof Joshi, in his speech shared his experience in teaching life and wished the students for their future. Ambika and Keerthi of III BSc gave the presentation on life history and achievement of Sir C V Raman. Kavya welcomed the gathering. Kavya Pai rendered the vote of thanks. Ramya compered the programme.
