Mumbai, Mar 2 : Kriti Sanon and Kartik Aaryan starrer Luka Chuppi which has been getting rave reviews from all the quarters got leaked by Tamilrockers online. This movie is the latest victim of the notorious piracy website that often leaks Bollywood as well as Hollywood movies.

The movie has been released on March 1 and got leaked by the public torrent site in a while. TamilRockers is a piracy site that uploads the pirated content for streaming and downloads even before the movies are released by makers officially. As Luka Chuppi movie has got leaked online for download within a day of its release, the filmmakers are very much worried as this can have an impact on the box office collection of the film because of the illegal downloads.

Of late, films such as Rajnikanth’s Petta, Ranvir Singh and Alia Bhatt’s Gully Boy, Ajith’s Viswasam, Kangana Ranaut’s Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, Vicky Kaushal’s Uri: The Surgical Strike, Aamir Khan’s Thugs of Hindostan, and Anupam Kher’s The Accidental Prime Minister were also leaked by Tamilrockers. In spite of getting strict notices from the court, the piracy website uploads approximately all the latest Bollywood movies. As per most recent update Producers Guild of India, to avoid piracy came up with a press release.

Talking about the movie, Luka Chuppi is directed by Laxman Utekar, the cinematographer-turned-director. This Romantic-Comedy has been produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films. The movie revolves around a small-town live-in couple. Apart from Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon, the film has Vinay Pathak, Aparshakti Khurana and Pankaj Tripathi in the supporting cast.

Luka Chuppi in the meantime has opened to lukewarm reviews among the critics. But, the audience, on the other hand, has accepted the film wonderfully and they are absolutely loving the chemistry between Kriti Sanon and Kartik Aaryan. Talking about the opening numbers, it has done moderately well, breaking the records of a lot of hit films of 2018.

On its first day itself, Luka Chuppi has been able to collect in Rs 8.01 crore at the box office. With this, it becomes the top opening film for Bollywood’s 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' actor Kartik Aaryan. The film got clashed with Sushant Singh Rajput's Sonchiriya which is also receiving mixed reviews from the critics. The trade analysts think that the film is going to be earning good all through the week. The movie also has time to earn as it has been released on about 2100 screens in India.
