Gujarat soldier dies in landslide in J&K


Gandhinagar, Mar 2 (IANS): A soldier from Gujarat died following injuries suffered in a landslide in Jammu and Kashmir, family sources said.

Kushalsinh Ranchhodbhai Thakor got buried under the snow on Tuesday.

He was rushed to an Army Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries on Friday.

Hailing from Jharda village in Meghraj Taluka of Aravalli district, he served in the army for 15 years.

Thakor is survived by his wife Bhartiben and two children.
