Immediately after winning the toss and electing to field, captain Kohli said that cricketers will donate today's match fees to the Defence Fund on account of players' tribute to Pulwama attack that killed more than 40 Indian soldiers on February 14. He urged all citizens to follow the same gesture within their respective capacity.
Earlier, MS Dhoni had the honour of handing over the army cap to Indian players.
