True warrior never counts terrorists killed in strike: Rajnath Singh

Jaipur, Mar 8 (IANS); Breaking his silence on opposition's query over the number of terrorists killed in the air strikes across the order, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday said that a true warrior never counts the number of terrorists killed in an attack.

Singh was addressing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s "Shakti Sammelan" at Sedariya Stadium in Beawar of Ajmer district in Rajasthan.

Speaking on the occasion, he said: "India launched counter-terror operation after the Pulwama attack. The Indian Air Force (IAF) conducted aerial surgical strikes in Pakistan and destroyed their terror camps and made Pakistan realise that it will have to pay a heavy price if it continues running terror camps on its soil."

It is normal to see Pakistan getting nervous with these air strikes, but what is worrisome is to see a few people from our country getting upset with these strikes and demanding proof for the same, he said.

"Instead of welcoming our soldiers, they are demanding evidences and asking the number of terrorists killed. Our jawans did not enter Pakistan for picnic or to shower flowers... They were on a target mission. Despite being aware of this fact, they are questioning them which is quite surprising," he said.

Being a Defence Retired Person asking this Question
Why did the Centre did not agree for One Rank One Pension till today. If the Indian GOVT likes the Defence Personal so much, it would a decision and make it to happen after NDA came to power.

Union MinisterAlhuwalia confirmed that bombs were dropped in open areas to avoid human causalties. Amit shah cofirm 250 Terrorists were killed in the Air Raid, Somr BJP leaders took the score to 800 Terrorists. So obviously people are convinced that the Govt and the BJP are only trying to derive political milage from this event knowing fully well that politicising of Armed Forces is Worrisome and Alarming.

High time the Armed forces are not dragged into political slugfest. It is not correct for the BJP to use the Armed Forces to gain political Milage.

Instead Modi and BJP can dwell on their achievements for the last years. What has Demonitisation achieved. How jobs have been lost. How many farmers have committed suicide. What has GST achieved. How many graduated and post graduates are jobless. What is the state of the economy. How much of Hatred has been injected in our society. What about the Gujarat model of Devlopment. A total Jhumla Govt

BJP on self-destruct mode. Infighting among the warriors. Rajnath Singh calling his President a 'feku' warrior for giving a count of the dead terrorists.

Opposition has to just sit back, relax and watch the fun. Enjoy with popcorn and BJP's chappal fight video.

Obviously this isn't a war, Mr. Singh, its elimination of terror. In this case, the eliminator should know the number which you have given but without proof. When you said 350 member of the terror organization were killed, there has to be some evidence. Or, are you waiting for Pakistan to give it ? How will a country that denied existence of terror in its country, give evidence of the carnage ?

Please stop fooling the citizens whose tax is collected to pay your salary.
