Army soldier abducted by militants in J&K


Srinagar, Mar 9 (IANS): An army soldier was abducted by militants on Friday in Jammu and Kashmir's Badgam district.

Police sources said the soldier belonging to the Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry (JAK LI) is identified as Muhammad Yaseen.

He was abducted by militants from his Qazipora native village in Chadoora area of Badgam district, sources said.

"Immediately after receiving the news, teams of police and Army rushed to the village. A massive search operation has been started to trace the missing soldier," a police source said.
