Vehicle with 1,000 kg explosives intercepted in Kolkata, 2 arrested

Kolkata, Mar 9 (IANS): A goods vehicle loaded with 1,000 kilograms of explosive material was intercepted here on Saturday and two persons have been arrested, police said.

Based on prior information, the Special Task Force of Kolkata Police intercepted the commercial vehicle from Tala Bridge in Chitpur, in the early hours of the day.

"About 1,000 kg of explosive substances (potassium nitrate) stored in 27 gunny bags were seized," a police officer said.

The vehicle was coming from Odisha and heading towards North 24 Parganas district.

Two residents of Odisha's Balasore district -- Indrajit Bhui (25) and Padmolochon Dey (31) -- have been arrested and further interrogation is underway.

    The arrested are not declared terrorists simply bcoz they are not belong to a particular community else the indian media would have prepared to blown up by thiz moment with breaking news linking the accused with pakistani millitant groups.

    Chaddis will do the blast and put the blame on caps. Makkah masjid blast, malegaon blast, ajmer. Darga blast, samjhota express blasts, may be more but the investigating officers like Hemant Karkare silenced by carrying out another terror attack.
    As said by Subramanyya swamy in one interview they want to unite Majority in India and divide the minorities.
