Kundapur, Mar 9: The absconding accused in Hemmady Gulabi murder case was arrested in Bengaluru on Saturday, March 9.

Raviraj, a resident of Mudur in Kundapur is the arrested person.

Gulabi (55), wife of late Nagesh, a resident of Kat Beltur was mysteriously found dead on March 1 in her bedroom. Nagesh, who was running a hotel business, died five years ago. After his death, Gulabi was selling fish for her living. The couple has two boys. The elder one is married and settled in Mumbai and the younger one is at Bengaluru.

The post-mortem report had confirmed that Gulabi was murdered.
