NDA seeks people's blessings again: Modi

New Delhi, Mar 10 (IANS); With Lok Sabha poll schedule announced on Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi sought a second term for the NDA, listing out his government's achievements in the last 5 years and recalling how Congress-led UPA was rejected by the voters in 2014.

In a series of tweets, Modi claimed that his government "spent the last five years fulfilling basic necessities that were left unfulfilled for 70 long years".

"Now, time has come to build on that and create a strong, prosperous and secure India.

Guided by 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas", NDA seeks your blessings again," he said.

He said that 2.5 crore families have electricity for the first time, 7 crore households have smoke-free kitchens and 1.5 crore Indians got their own homes during his regime.

Also, 50 crore Indians have access to good quality and free healthcare, 42 crore people of unorganised sector have access to old-age pension, 12 crore farmer households get yearly monetary support of Rs 6,000 and crores of middle class families are exempt from income tax, he added.

Modi said that in the last five years, what was earlier deemed impossible was now possible.

"Today, the people of India know that it is possible to: Become the fastest growing economy. Give a befitting reply to terror. Eliminate poverty at a record pace. Make India Swachh.Remove corruption and punish the corrupt. Ensure inclusive and extensive development," he said.

"In 2014, the people comprehensively rejected the UPA. There was unprecedented anger over the UPA's corruption, nepotism and policy paralysis. India's self-confidence was at an all-time low and the people of India wanted to rid the nation of such decay and pessimism," he said.

Urging active participation in the elections, he also called upon first-time voters to vote in record numbers and hoped for a historic turnout in the polls.

The Lok Sabha elections will be held in seven phases from April 11 to May 19 and the votes will be counted on May 23.

The voters have blessed BJP to power in 2014 thinking Prime Minister Modi will make corruption free India.
After five years of 'Undeclared emergency' under BJP's good governance to the citizens, all promises are proved big 'Jumla'.

Since the blitzkrieg bombing by the Indian Air Force across the border, describing the air raids as a befitting act of revenge against the killing of over 40 CRPF jawans by a Jaish-E-Mohammed-inspired fidayeen Kashmiri youth.
Both Modi and BJP were happy because they were confident that all other ‘surgical strikes’ carried out by the Modi government during the past five years will be erased from the public memory. The youth, farmers, workers, Dalits, minorities will forget what BJP did to them during all these years. Nationalism will paralyse brains of the masses and people will forget indiscriminate destruction of the judiciary, RBI, CBI, HAL, universities, and institutions of learning. If not permanently at least for the next two crucial months, all misdeeds and acts of misadventure of this government will be pushed to the backburner.
Modiji election season has started even before Election Commission announced the dates using soldiers sacrifice for votes.
Narendra Modi's election season travel diary 150 events in 42 days. What Modi did from January 26 onwards: Served mid-day meals, washed feet of sanitation workers, took a holy dip in Kumbh. He also managed to take a holy dip in the Kumbh, perhaps hoping to wash away his sins for lying to the nation.

The Gujarat Model of Devlopment has been a Total failure. People have got fed up with the Jhumla Politics of Modi and Amit Shah. Except for indulging in Divisive politics and attempts to polarise people and spreading hatred across the country, the Modi Sarkar has been the worst Gvot since Indepndence.

Modi Sarkar Ko Hatao. Desh Ko Bachao.

Religion is completely personal and private matter and right. People can practice it whatever manner suits them without anyone interfering and advising them. BJP govt has miserably failed in providing good governance which is expected of a govt. Not a single promise has been fulfilled rather created lot of chaos and loot. People are very disappointed and want to get rid of BJP at any cost and it's a blessing to the Nation.
