Pakistan made OIC body's deputy chair

Islamabad, Mar 12 (IANS): Pakistan has clinched the slot of the deputy chairman of the general body of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUIC), media reported on Tuesday.

According to an official announcement, Pakistan has been elected deputy chairman of the PUIC's general body on the first day on Monday of its four-day conference being held in Rabat, Morocco, reports Dawn news.

The PUIC is composed of parliaments of member states of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation. It was established in Iran on June 17, 1999, with its head office situated in Tehran.

Earlier this month, India's External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj made history by becoming the first Indian invitee to an OIC summit, when she delivered an address at the OIC foreign ministers' meeting in Abu Dhabi.

Even with severe opposition from Pakistan, OIC did not drop Sushma's address. Finally, it was Pakistan which dropped itself from participating in the event!
If you don't see the influence of India in this incidence, I do not know what to call you.... please suggest!!

Yeah! It called Sushma to address and at the end took two resolutions which were hugely embarrassing for us and first time in the history. One on the Kashmir issue and another on the India-Pakistan peace process, were part of the overall political resolution. The first described Kashmir as the “core dispute” between the two countries and expressed concern at rights violations in “Indian occupied” Kashmir. It also described the gunning down of terrorist commander Burhan Wani as an “extra-judicial killing” and spoke of “Indian terrorism” in the state. What an embarrassment. It shows the abysmal levels of the foreign polices and the lows that we have reached. Even Nepal, SL, Maldives are threatening India and our chappan inch is still busy patting his own back

    Well explained Santhosh Mendon, Mangaluru!
But unfortunately our blind Bhakts of the Fekus won't understand A..B..C..D.. of these issues. They blindly follow a fake religious ideology propagated by the Fekus and still wait with mouths wide open for 'Ache Din' which will never come. These blind Bhakts will succumb to their own horrendous ignorance and live in misery forever. Unfortunately there is no medicine for ignorance and arrogance.
