TMC MP Hazra set to join BJP

New Delhi, Mar 12 (IANS): In a major setback to the West Bengal ruling Trinamool Congress ahead of the Lok Sabha polls, its MP Anupam Hazra is all set to join Bharatiya Janata Party on Tuesday.

Hazra on Tuesday morning met BJP General Secretary and in-charge of West Bengal affairs Kailash Vijayvargiya and party leader Mukul Roy in Delhi. He is all set to officialy join the BJP at the party headquarters.

"A fresh beginning," Hazra wrote in his facebook and posted a smiling with Vijayvargiya.

The TMC MP from Bolpur, who was once very close to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, was suspended from the party recently.
