Mangaluru: ‘Anubhava Sangama’ discussion held at Shakthi P U College

Mangaluru, Mar 15: Akhila Bharata Sharana Sahitya Parishat, District Sharana Sahitya Parishat and Shakthi literature and cultural association of P U College jointly scheduled a discussion forum titled ‘Anubhava Sangama’ at Shakthi P U College on March 17 at 2.30 pm.

The discussions on the subject ‘Vachanas (poetic teachings) for the future’ will be inaugurated by Dakshina Kannada Sahitya Parishat president Pradeep Kumar Kalkura. Jagannathappa Panasale Janavada will present the keynote address. Lecturer Prabhaker G S will take part as chief guest. Gopalakrishna temple managing trustee K C Naik will preside over the inaugural programme.

Savitri Ramesh Bhat will table discussions on the subject of ‘Vachanas that proclaim all time values’ and Dr S P Gurudas on ‘Vachanas that have written foreword for social revolution’. Dr Nayak Roopsingh and Sujay Shetty will preside over the discussions.

The concluding programme in the evening will be presided over by Dr Muralidhar Naik. Vidya Kamath G will be chief guest. Bykadi Janardhan Achar will deliver a speech for the concluding programme. Inchara group Urva members will be sing Vachanas.

Dakshina Kannada Sharana Sahitya parishat president Bykadi Janardhan Achar, secretary K G Patil, Shakthi P U College lecturer Prabhaker G S and Ramesh K were present.
