Accidental fire at NC meet causes concern


Srinagar, Mar 17 (IANS): An accidental fire on Sunday causing injuries to personal security guard (PSO) of a National Conference (NC) leader at the venue of a party meeting that was to be addressed by former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, in Anantnag caused flutter.

National Conference leader Abdul Rehman Veeri's PSO Jahangir Ahmed was injured when his service rifle went off accidentally at the Dak Banglow in Anantnag town.

He was shifted to hospital for treatment.

Abdullah had not arrived at the venue when the incident took place.
