AAP fields Balbir Singh Jakhar from West Delhi


New Delhi, Mar 17 (IANS): Delhi's ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Sunday announced Balbir Singh Jakhar as its candidate for the West Delhi parliamentary seat.

His candidature was announced at a press conference here by senior AAP leader and Delhi Minister Gopal Rai.

The AAP had announced the names of its candidates for six of the seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi on March 2.

The party has fielded Pankaj Gupta from Chandni Chowk, Dilip Pandey from North East Delhi, Atishi from East Delhi, Brajesh Goel from New Delhi, Gugan Singh from North West Delhi and Raghav Chadha from South Delhi.
