Soldier killed in Pakistan firing on LoC in Rajouri


Jammu, Mar 18 (IANS): An Indian soldier was killed on Monday in Pakistan firing on the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district, defence sources said.

He was killed during a ceasefire violation by the Pakistan Army in the Sunderbani sector.

"A soldier was killed and four others injured when Pakistan initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation around 5.30 a.m. today. The Indian Army retaliated effectively," the sources said.
