Sunny but cold morning in Delhi


New Delhi, Mar 19 (IANS): It was a sunny but cold Tuesday morning in the national capital, with the minimum temperature dipping to four notches below the season's average at 12.8 degrees Celsius, the weather office said.

"The sky was clear in the morning. It will remain like that throughout the day," an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.

The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 30 degrees Celsius.

The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 80Aper cent.

On Monday, the minimum temperature was recorded at 12 degrees Celsius, five notches below the season's average, while the maximum was 28.5 degrees Celsius, two notches below the normal.
