Bengaluru: SSLC, second PU results during end of April

Bengaluru, Mar 19: Dr P C Jaffer, commissioner of public instructions, informed that the SSLC and second PU results of this year would be declared towards the end of April month.

"The second PU examination that started on March 1, got over on March 18. SSLC examination, which will start on March 21and will end on April 4. The evaluation of the answer papers of second PU will start from March 25 and that of SSLC from April 10. Both the results will be declared towards the end of April," said Jaffer at a press conference in the city.

Jaffer further said, "The coding and decoding of second PU answer sheets will start on March 21 and evaluation from March 25. As the polling for Lok Sabha elections are going to be held in the state on April 18 and 23, the evaluation will be completed keeping in mind this factor also."

"Appeal will be made to the association of government PU college lecturers to cooperate in the evaluation process. If they do not agree, we have already made alternative arrangements to carry on the process. There is no need for students and parents to panic under any circumstance. The evaluation process will go on smoothly this year like every year," concluded Jaffer.
