Mangaluru, Mar 22: The annual awards for outstanding students of Expert PU College, Valachil for the academic year 2018-19 was announced recently.

Bhuvan Veere Gowda Belemaranahalli of E2 batch was selected as the ‘Expert Super Star’ based on his all-round performances in academics and co-curricular areas. R Chinmay of A2 batch was adjudged as the ‘Most Focused Student’ and Ankith Vishal Pandit of E2 batch is awarded as the ‘Best in Academic and in Socially Useful Productive Works’ and Adline Riya Braggs of A2batch has been selected as the ‘Best in Non-scholastics’.

Prof Narendra L Nayak, chairman, Expert Group of Institutions distributed the awards and felicitated the awardees with memento and certificates in a befitting function organised at the cultural centre of the campus. Dr N K Vijayan Karippal, principal of Expert PU College and vice-principal Raghavendra Shenoy, president, student parliament, Prasad Prabhu, secretary Bhoomika Prasad, members Jaikishan, Shubhashree and Fathima Hibah spoke on the occasion.
