The victim's mother told the Indian Express, "The men tied him to a tree and started hitting him with a stick. When he asked them the reason, they abused him and said that he should not study and take his exams, but instead do labour work."

The victim did not anyone till Wednesday until his mother saw the injury marks on his back.

He was immediately taken to Mehsana civil hospital and an FIR was registered. So far, no one has been arrested.

If a person is denied fair opportunities, just because of the caste tag he obtained from his forefathers, it's VERY UNFORTUNATE!
In the same way, if a person is given high esteem, just for the caste tag he obtained by birth, IT'S again unfortunate.
In such caste system, made by upper castes, they get undue advantage, disadvantages to lower castes, is a VERY BIG EVIL.
It's a real reason for caste change.
As long as this evil is not abolished, country can never improve, but advantage taking castes will come on the way!

From Anadi Kala, this country is suffering from casteism in Sanatana Dharma. This has eaten up the fabric of the society.
Upper caste Hindus in northern belt are not ready to accept the Dalits as human beings.
    The worst kind of inhumanity..

The dalit leader, Jignesh Mevani. said about this boy, Mitkumar Chavda, thus “We found out that he was beaten up by these criminals because it was suspected that the teen was friends with a girl studying in class 11, and she was related to the two miscreants. Angered by the possibility of a Dalit boy going around with a woman of another caste, the relatives beat him up. He was not only stopped from taking his English exam, but was threatened to not give the upcoming exam March 22. They also threatened to kill him if he writes the exam,” I think there is no politics here, but the usual high caste low caste problem.

No one beat kerala in the matter of crime is number one state. After 2002 gujarat is considered a peaceful state. No untoward incident happened there after. Same model once should apply once in our region also...while looking cattle traffickers...terrorist net work...hundi activities...smuggling den...drug involvement..and many more.
