Two injured in mysterious Shopian mosque blast

Srinagar, March 24 (IANS): Two persons were injured on Sunday in a mysterious blast inside a mosque in Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian district.

Police said the explosion occurred in Chowgam village mosque when it was being cleaned.

"Two people were injured. The blast seems to have been caused due to the malfunctioning of pipes," a police officer said. "The injured have been shifted to a hospital."
