Not beef, Modi ate dhokla and slept during Pulwama attack: Owaisi on beef biryani remark

New Delhi, Mar 26 (IT): As controversy erupted over AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi suggesting that PM Modi ate beef biryani and slept when the Pulwama attack happened, he tweaked his statement on Monday night and changed beef to dhokla and said he is not aware of Modi's food habits.

Owaisi again attacked the Modi government for its intelligence failure on preventing the Pulwama terror attack.

He said that he is not aware of PM Modi's food habits, maybe he had slept off after eating dhokla when terrorists attacked the CRPF convoy in Pulwama and killed 40 CRPF jawans.

Earlier on Saturday, according to ANI, Owaisi had said, "You can see that 300 cell phones were there in Balakot, but you failed to see how 50 kg RDX was moved to Pulwama under your nose."

"I want to ask PM Modi and Rajnath Singh whether they ate beef biryani and slept," Asaduddin Owaisi added, as quoted by ANI.

A Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into a CRPF convoy and blew up one of the buses, killing 40 men.

Several Opposition leaders raised questions on intelligence failure as to why there was no information on such huge quantities of explosives being moved in Kashmir.

The Hyderabad MP also attacked PM Modi over his recent tweet promoting Narendra Modi merchandise on Twitter under his 'Main Bhi Chowkidar' campaign.

"Soon we will see 'Modi Mart-mall' giving a challenge to Big Bazaar and Walmart," Asaduddin Owaisi said while addressing a rally.

"The #MainBhiChowkidar programme on the 31st will look even better with the attractive merchandise! Have you ordered yours?" the official Twitter handle of Prime Minister Narendra Modi had tweeted.
