Jamshedpur, Mar 27 (IANS): Jamshedpur FC's Brazilian Emerson Gomes de Moura (Memo) on Wednesday signed a contract, extending his stay at the club for another season.
The Brazilian has been part of the Indian Super League (ISL) club since 2017. He was one of the top 10 players who made maximum number of passes the last season. Memo also scored two all-important goals for the club.
"I am happy to sign a new contract with Jamshedpur. Since I came here in 2017, I have always felt good and the club has been very supportive of me. The team has helped me improve a lot. The fans have been fantastic and I have an amazing understanding with my teammates," Memo said in a statement on Wednesday.
"I always try to delight supporters with my game, and it's nice to know they appreciate it. I hope we can repay that support by winning the Indian Super League," he said.
Club Technical Director, Julian Villar-Aragón said, "We are happy to secure Memo's services for another year. Since becoming a Jamshedpur player, he has regularly demonstrated his ability on the field. We look forward to seeing him continue to flourish at the club."
