Clear skies, mercury to touch 33 degrees C


New Delhi, Mar 28 (IANS): It was a sunny morning in the national capital on Thursday with the minimum temperature recorded two notches below the season's average at 16.2 degrees Celsius.

"The sky will remain clear throughout the day," an Indian Meteorological Department official told IANS.

The maximum temperature was likely to hover around 33 degrees Celsius.

At 8.30 a.m. the humidity was recorded at 71 per cent.

On Wednesday, the minimum temperature recorded three notches below the season's average was 15 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature was 31.6 degrees Celsius, the season's average.
