Liberalise issue of US visa: Kerala Governor

Thiruvananthapuram, Mar 28 (IANS): Kerala Governor P. Sathasivam on Thursday urged the US envoy to India to be more liberal in issuing H1B visas to engineers and IT professionals from the state.

Sathasivam discussed the subject with Kenneth Ian Juster during a 20-minute interaction at the Raj Bhavan.

A Raj Bhavan statement said the Governor sought more avenues for higher education in the US for students from Kerala.
