Arjun Munda kicks off poll campaign in Jharkhand

Ranchi, Mar 28 (IANS): Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda on Thursday launched his election campaign as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from the Khuti Lok Sabha seat.

Arjun Munda started his campaign by offering prayer at Amreshwar Dham of Khuti district and meeting Karia Munda, member of the outgoing 16th Lok Sabha, at his residence.

Arjun Munda along with hundreds of party workers also did a "patyatra" in the city.

"Arjun Munda is a visionary leader and the right choice to replace Karia Munda. We are hopeful to see development in the district under his leadership," said Ram Pahan, a BJP worker.
