New Delhi, Mar 4: More than a month after he underwent a coronary bypass surgery, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh returned to work on Wednesday.
Manmohan Singh had his first official engagement at his residence today where he met the Benin President, Boni Yayi.
The meeting assumes significance as the country gets into poll mode and it would send a message that the Prime Minister is well on the way to resuming his normal duties.
However, it’s not yet clear when the PM will be in a position to campaign for his party in the forthcoming elections.
