Pakistani wives of ex-militants protest in Srinagar


Srinagar, March 29 (IANS): The Pakistani wives of Kashmiri militants who came back in response to the Jammu and Kashmir government's rehabilitation policy protested here on Friday, demanding citizenship rights and travel documents.

The state government's rehabilitation policy was announced in 2010.

These women have since been living with their husbands in Kashmir without either the citizenship rights or the travel documents to go back to Pakistan.
