Militants shoot, injure civilian in J-K


Srinagar, March 29 (IANS): Militants shot and injured a civilian on Friday in Jammu and Kashmir's Tral area.

"Militants shot and critically injured a civilian in Tral area of Pulwama district on Friday evening," a police official said.

The victim was identified as a shopkeeper, Naseer Ahmad of Nowpora village.

"He was shifted to Srinagar for specialised treatment in a critical condition. The area has been surrounded for searches," the police said.
