Jammu Congress leader Sham Lal Sharma joins BJP

Jammu, Mar 30 (IANS): Senior Congress leader and former minister Sham Lal Sharma, here on Saturday, joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

He was welcomed into the BJP fold by its national Vice-President Avinash Rai Khanna and state BJP chief Ravinder Raina.

Sharma said he has decided to join the BJP in the larger interest of Jammu and to end the long years of discrimination against the region.
