Dear M.Shareef Kannagar, I understand your concerns, just like you I too love our deen.I don't know from where you gathered that I tried to politicize our deen. My concern was not with use of green flag but my concern was that people use this flag as if it is a part of our faith. That is all, no further.

Congratulations to all Muslims on the occasion of Miladunnabi. I can understand the joy and happiness you are expressing, in fact you are showing respect to our beloved prophet. Competitions and singings are good on this occasion but what is more important is to learn about the Prophet, his teachings and his way of life. Not only learning, trying to imitate his way of life is the need of the our. What I don't understand here is why we have to use the green flag with crescent on it ,it is the flag of Muslim League and doesn't have much relevance to Muslims except that green was the favorite colour of our Prophet because green is the symbol of peace and tranquility .
