Mangaluru, Apr 6: Dakshina Kannada constituency’s Congress candidate Mithun Rai has said that many of the BJP activists are taking part in his campaigning duties and helping him.

Addressing media during his campaign, he said, “We have received good response for our campaign in Kalladka and Bantwal. Congress will definitely win this time.

“People are supporting us as they are not happy with the incumbent MP. BJP members and activists too are joining Congress’ campaigning which is a good sign for us," he said.

Former minister B Ramanath Rai, zilla panchayat member Chandrashekar Shetty, Panemangaluru Block Congress president Sudeep Kumar Shetty, Bantwal Block Congress president Baby Kunder, Youth Congress president Prashanth Kulal, APMC president Padmanabha Rai, Sanjeev Poojary, Abbas Ali and others were present.

As the heat of the Lok Sabha elections is rising, preparations for the same are in full swing by all the political parties in the district.
