Congress leader assaults BJP spokesperson on live TV

New Delhi, Apr 8 (IANS): With the Lok Sabha polls approaching, the politicians are busy attacking each other with sharp criticism. In a similar case, Congress spokesperson Alok Sharma on Saturday threw a glass of water on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson KK Sharma during a live TV debate.

In the video, that has now gone viral on social media platforms, Alok Sharma lost his cool when his BJP counterpart called him a "traitor" multiple times. In the fist of rage, he assaulted the BJP spokesperson by throwing a glass of water on him.

The water splashed over anchor's jacket, leaving him drenched. The anchor had to change his outfit to present the remaining programme.

Though no one was hurt pieces of glass could be seen across the studio.

The BJP spokesperson asked Alok Sharma to apologise for his behaviour. At the same time, the Alok Sharma continued his stand and asked for an apology for being called a traitor.

The Tallest leader in the BJP presently Mr Advani has clearly stated that those who do not agree with the BJP are adversories and not anti nationals. The BJP under Modi and Amit Shah have been labelling all those who oppose them as anti nationals and so such reaction from the Congress leader.

These five years of BJP rule has exposed the true face of the BJP and the RSS. I am sure the people of India will discard this ugly face of the BJP in these elections until the BJP chooses a path of all inclusiveness and respects all the safegaurds given in the Constitution by our founding fathers.

In their present form it will be good riddance to bad rubbish.

BJPs culture is to go uninvited to Pakistan and eat biryani, sending private message to Pak PM on their national day, releasing the terrorists and hoisting Paki flag. Now tell me who are these traitors. When nothing to talk about development, blame Pak, Nehru, Gandhi etcetc.

Peaceful like Anantha Kumar Hegde, as just one example. Branding someone as traitor is a act of peaceful person? It's common to react like this if someone is called a traitor.

Loosing Election is a separate issue, congress may loose or win, that's fine.
BJP in recent past is come up with two words to fool general public and humiliate their opponent.
    1) Anti National
    2)Traitor.
They also consider Army & Air force belong to them.

After this incident any BJP spokesperson will think twice before acting like uneducated moral police.

Calling others anti nationals, traitor is not less than a criminal. Who are you? ? Who have given you power to call other citizen as an anti national or traitor?
