Ticket release function of Tulu film ‘Kambalabettu Bhatrena Magal’ held in Dubai

Dubai, Apr 7: Rachael Productions’ maiden venture, producer Ronald Martis’s first ever Tulu Film ‘Khambalabettu Bhatrena Magal’ had a successful UAE release tickets launch on April 5 at Winny’s Restaurant Banquet Hall, Karama attended by large number of Tulu movie fans from across the United Arab Emirates. Sandhya Creations Overseas Movies are the distributers of the movie.

Well-known compere Uttam Menezes ably conducted the entire programme. He welcomed the gathering and briefed on the ‘Kambalabettu Bhatrena Magal’ Tulu film’s making and its production. He then rendered prayer and welcomed producer Ronald Martis and guests on to the dais.



Guests included Alwyn Pinto, former president of Mangalore Konkans, Ashok Bailur, president of Tulu Nada Rakshana Vedike Dubai Ghataka, actor Deepak Paladka, actress Navyatha Rai of Tulu film ‘Patthis Gang’ and Shodhan Prasad who were all received and honoured with flowers by Ronald Martis.

Ronald Martis spoke about the film and said that the successful running of the film in India in spite of school exams shows that the movie is very good and worth watching. He briefed on the technicalities of the movie and said that some of the best technicians were used and also that the movie was worked upon in a famous studio in Kerala. The entire shoot locations in some of the beautiful areas with good areal views and songs have made the real story an interesting movie to watch till the end with the whole family. There is absolutely no vulgarity or double meaning dialogues and the movie is meant totally for families to watch together. It was released recently in Mangaluru and other parts and is still running successfully. There are plans to dub the movie in other languages and will be announced soon, informed

All the guests congratulated Ronald Martis and appealed the audience to go and watch the film in theaters with their family and friends in large numbers.

“After a long time, a Tulu movie is going to be released in Dubai and perhaps may be the last entertainment before the commencement of Ramadan month in UAE. So it is not to be missed by all the movie lovers,” said Ronald Martis.

The film ‘Kambalabettu Bhatrena Magal’ under the banner Rachael Film Production, produced by Ronald Martis is directed by young and talented Sharath S Poojary, Baggathota. The production in charge is Prakash Gatty and the music is by Shinoy V Joseph with lead cast Aishwarya A Acharya, Shailu Birwa, Sharath Poojary Kapu, Pradeep J Shetty, Shankar Bhat, Rashmitha Changappa, Lavanya Kotian and special star cast comprising of Aravind Bolar, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Prakash K Thuminadu, Ramesh Rai Kukkuvalli, Satish Bandale, Shivaprakash Poonja, Shobhpriya Nair and Saroja Rao.

The beautifully created trailer and promo videos of the movie were played along with the songs throughout and everybody appreciated.

Later, the much awaited ‘Ticket Release’ was conducted by compere Uttam Menezes with Baby Rachael opening up the tickets and distributing to all the guests on dais. Uttam once again appealed all the audience to encourage Tulu movies and explained the hardships the producers have to go through in order to bring in some entertainment to people. If the movie is hit, the producer will get an opportunity to go on for another production thus presenting more entertainment to people. He also mentioned and thanked Shodhan Prasad for giving an opportunity to host his first ever Tulu movie ‘Nirel’ and from that event onwards all the movies released by ‘Sandhya Creations’ were happily and successful compered by him which also included Tulu, Konkani and Kannada movies.

Shodhan Prasad rendered the vote of thanks and individually thanked one and all for their valuable time, dedication and support to movies whenever release were arranged. He whole hearted thanked Uttam and said that he is the lucky charm whose compering during the openings has given all the movies a great hit in UAE. He also thanked Producer Ronald Martis for giving him the opportunity to release overseas. Also he thanked all the media members, venue, Preetham and Sonu Bantwal brothers who supported the audio visuals during the programme. He also thanked Deepak Paladka for his digital publicity especially through social media. Thanks were also extended to Godwin Castelino of Digital World Media for tickets and pamphlets printing, courtesy and sponsored by him like every time.

Special Guest, well known TV Media personality, Kannada Rajyotsawa Awardee, Laxman Kunder, managing director of V4News channel who came from India with family friends on this special occasion was introduced by Shodhan. Laxman spoke on the movie and Ronald Martis thanked him especially for all those coverages they have provided during the release in Mangaluru.

Buffet dinner was arranged and all the audience savored the sumptuous dinner spread of Winny’s Restaurant.

Video bytes and congratulatory videos were specially arranged which was captured by Sujith Lionel of Namma Kudla TV. He also arranged the live coverage and there were other fans covering it for Facebook throughout the programme.
