Kundapur, Apr 7: Congress-JD(S) alliance candidate from Shivamogga Madhu Bangarappa on Sunday April 7 alleged that the Narendra Modi-led goverment has failled to deliver the promises made in the 2014 general elections.

Addressing a press meet at Maravanthe Sadhana auditorium here, he said, "In the previous Lok Sabha elections, members of parliament from BJP won on the basis of Modi wave, but they have failed to deliver their promises and live up to expectations of the people of their respective Lok Sabha constituencies.

"In the upcoming elections, all the three coastal seats will be won by Congress-JD(S) alliance. There is no Modi wave in these districts," he added.

Voters will reject the BJP and vote for the Congress-JD(S) alliance, he said.

"Modi has failed to deliver on his various promises, such as creating jobs for the youth, and depositing Rs 15 lac in voters' accounts which were promised in the previous election. He also failed to build the Ram temple which was promised by the BJP.

"The economic situation of the country has worsened under the Narendra Modi goverment," he said.

He expressed his happiness over the functioning of the JD(S)-Congress alliance goverment in Karnataka. "All the promised projects in our manifesto are being fulfilled. The goverment has reduced the burden of the farmers by waiving their loans as promised.

"There is peace in the coastal districts and there is no problem of law and order in the state," he added.

He attacked former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa, saying that he had failed to get funds for the various promised drinking water projects to the state. "Our state goverment has released Rs 282 crore for irrigation projects and Rs 482 crore for the development of entire Shimogga district.

"The Congress-JD(S) alliance is committed to defeating the communal BJP in the state. There is no difference of opinion between the Congress and the JD(S) supporters. They will work hard together for the upcoming elections," he added.

Former minister K Gopal Poojary, KPCC vice-president Manjunath Bhandary, zilla panchayat member Gowri Devadiga, Congress members Raju Poojary, Pradeep Kumar Shetty, Madan Kumar, Prakashchandra Shetty, JD(S) members Sandesh Bhat, Mansoor Ibrahim, Ravi Shetty Byndoor and Shrikanth Adiga were present in the press meet.

Congress-JD(S) alliance candidate from Shivamogga Madhu Bangarappa may be correct in statement Modi wave losing power.

The Bharatiya Janata Party has ditched saffron and adopted green in its ongoing campaigning for the Lok Sabha polls in Kashmir.

On Thursday, a photo of Sheikh Khalid Jehangir, the BJP candidate from the Srinagar parliamentary constituency, splashed in green on the pages of Srinagar dailies.

In BJP ruled Tripura, Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb for allegedly spreading communal hatred in the state using the slogan “Poila Jati, Ulo Party” (caste comes first and then political parties) making false statements with “a motive to divide communities in the state on the lines of caste, creed and religion”.
Even Wardha speech Prime Minister Modi is so scared of defeat gone back to his old tactic of 'Hindu-Muslim' violating section 123 of the Representation of People Act had said :

The Congress insulted Hindus…people have decided to punish it in the election. Leaders of that party are now scared of contesting from constituencies dominated by majority (Hindu) population. That is why they are forced to take refuge in places where the majority is a minority.
Congress used the term ‘Hindu terror’…It labeled the peace-loving Hindus as terrorists…is there a single incident of Hindu terrorism?
Governor Kalyan Singh and Niti Aayog vice-chairman Rajiv Kumar misusing the office after their indictment by the Election Commission for a poll code violation.

Dude EVMs can not be hacked, well in that case each and every party would have tried hacking and winning elections, put some logic at least, don't believe what congress says blindly.

Election committee even given open challenge to hack it but no body successful till now, you don't support Modi does not mean other people also not supporting.

True there is no Modi Wave but Modi Sunami.

Actually Madhu Bangarappa should canvass for votes & campaign in Shivamogga rather than tour other coastal areas and talk nonsense. His own seat is unsure of victory by onslaught of Father-Son duo there. So makes sense to make sure of own victory rather than speaking in air on others
