Rahul challenges Modi to debate on corruption

New Delhi, Apr 8 (IANS): Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Sunday again challenged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to a debate on corruption.

Gandhi shared on Twitter a 25-second video clip of a recent interview of Modi given to a Hindi news channel. In the clip, Modi is seen asking the interviewer if she believed the verdict on Rafale deal given by the Supreme Court, the Comptroller and Auditor General, the French President and the French government.

Gandhi said in the tweet: "You can run Mr Modi, but you can't hide. Your karma is about to catch up with you. The country can hear it in your voice. Truth is a powerful thing. I challenge you to a debate on corruption."

On March 1, Gandhi had challenged Modi to a one-on-one debate on corruption. He had also dared the Prime Minister to hold a press conference and answer questions of the public.

Leave alone accepting Rahul Gandhi's challenge, let Modi give an interview to either Karan Thapar or Rajdeep Sardesai. There is no point in giving an interview to Arnab Goswami because as we all know the questions will be known to Modi even before the interview starts.

If a PM has to debate with every MP, then the PMO has to open a call center for this purpose. RaGa very well knows this but just to show off to his chelas and 'gandhi ' slaves he tweets. Smriti Irani has challenged Pappu for debate several times, but he has ignored. He knows that that he will end up looking sheepish like in Bangalore St Mary's. So to save himself he is contesting from Wayanad in Kerala , trying to cash on the minority population there who are exited to see a white skinned man speaking Hindi.

Only a truthful & honest mind can show courage to accept the challenge..., that too when our PM quite often choose to speak/talk very low and use filthy/foul language in his public speeches.., but not ready to face the un-biased media....!!!!
Good for DOMBARATA ..., we must take it as part of our routine entertainment & humour....!!!

Time for Hindustan to choose a wisdom full , knowledgeable, honest & respectful person as PM...!!!!

If you ask of defence, other minister will talk so on and so forth.
And finally, the Yale graduate will complete the circle.
If Modi is a man, he will accept the challenge.

I quote yours: Modiji is one of our God. We worship him daily and pray for his health and he will make India no. 1 country in the world. Unquote.

    1) Supposedly he is God why the diesel and petrol prices are increasing very frequently and why so much ups and downs in the oil daily.

    2) You are saying he is God and what is the purpose of praying for his health.
GOD CANNOT KEEP HIMSELF IN GOOD HEALTH???!!!
    NON-SENSE WRITE-UP.

    3) Once again you are saying he will make India No. one country.
    a) How come he will make India Number one country in the world.
    i) Why it is will a past tense when himself is a God???!!!
ii) Why not he has done Number 1 country in 5 years and what type of chor god is he???!!!

HE DESTROYED INDIA'S ECONOMY AND INDIA'S HAPPINESS AND POVERTY LINE RATE HAS GONE DOWN DURING HIS TENURE.

RUPEE VALUE IS GOING ON DIMINISHING DAY BY DAY
WHERE IS SWISS BANK MONEY OF INDIANS STASHED IN SWISS.
THE SWISS BANK MONEY OF INDIANS HAS BEEN INCREASED IN THE SWISS BANK SINCE CHOR CHOWKIDAR HAS TAKEN THE CHARGE IN 2014

WE DON'T WANT AN ILLITERATE PRIME MINISTER WHO IS RULING US LIKE COWS AND A CATTLE CLASS GOVERNANCE.

VIRTUALLY WE ARE FACING A TUGLAQ-RAAJ GOVERNMENT OF THE OLD.

Modi has always shied away from the Press and Debates because he will be exposing his weaknesses. He beieves in only one way broadcast like in Mann Ki Baat. The Rafala Scam has cast a dark cloud on his integrity. He should have readily agreed to a JPC probe in Parliment and cleared his name. His sacking of the CBI Chief under mysterious circumstances reinforces the doubt that he is deeply involved in the Rafale Scam. By remaining in denial and avoiding any impartial inquiry he is only delaying the inevitable.

He should accept the challenge posed by Rahul for a debate on Corruption if what he stands by what he said before the last elections that Nah Mai Kaunga Nah Kissi Ko Kane Dunga. What a catch phrase that caught the imagination of the people in 2014.

Unfortunately he is sounding hollow not only on matters of corruption but on every issue facing the nations as his lies, lies and Jhumlas are not going down well with the public coming as they are from the Prime Minister.
