India must try to be developed nation by 2047: Modi

New Delhi, Apr 8 (IANS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Monday that India should aspire to be a developed country by 2047, the 100th anniversary of its Independence, and added that a BJP-led government will lay the foundation for this in the next five years.

Speaking at the release of the BJP election manifesto for the Lok Sabha elections here, he also said that his government had focused on meeting the requirements of the people in the last five years and it will seek to fulfil their aspirations in the next five years.

He said the Bharatiya Janata Party had already set targets for 2022, when the country will celebrate 75 years of its Independence.

"For that, the foundation has to be laid in the next five years," he said.

Modi said that the BJP will create dedicated ministries to address concerns related to water availability and fishermen.

    By that time developed countries will grow more than 200% and India will remain as same. It's a daydream to compete with supper nations. Countries will ban the migrants workers. Donald Trump has started this process and rest nation will follow soon. Unemployment may rise more than 25% to 30% within a 2-3 years. So instead of laying foundation new projects it's better to complete announced or on going projects. So we can create jobs within our areas. And this can be achieved with good governance not by uneducated leaders. Unless we change our governing policy india will never to be seen as a super country.

    If by mistake he comes to power for another 5 years, India becoming a developed country would be a distant dream. 5 years back he said India would be a superpower by 2020. After ruling for 5 years he himself realized that, he has pushed India to darkness. That is why he changed the year to 2047.
    Chowkidar bhakths are clapping and saying, wah Modiji wah, what a leader we have who is showing us a dream of India becoming a developed country.
    Normally people by doing their routine work, they get bored up and want some change. But I wonder, how come this guy never get tired of lying. One must appreciate him for his art of lying. Wah Modi Wah.

    Come on please concentrate on the problems faced by common man. Please try to solve the problems like price raise of essential commodities and services , petrol and other. Let the poor people come up in life as we can not say India is developed with sizable population living under poverty line and in slums. India has not started from zero when Mr. Modi took over power instead the growth rate was higher than the current one. Please stop unnecessary hype created by him and followers that everything created after he taken over power. Had Nehru not built Indian Institutes of technologies and institutions like ISRO but statues we would not have been so proud worldwide in education quality manpower and technology.
